AI-Driven Logistics Firm Secures Major Funding for Expansion
Gurugram-based logistics technology company Pidge has raised $13.6 million (₹120 crore) in a Series A round led by Spanish investment group La Vida es Chula (LVEC), with participation from existing investors. The funds will accelerate its expansion into India’s Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, upgrade its AI-powered logistics platform, and initiate international pilot programs.
Targeting Smaller Cities and Global Markets
Founded in 2019 by Ratnesh Verma and Rushil Mohan, Pidge operates a flexible logistics platform that unifies formal fleets, gig workers, and informal delivery networks. Its AI system streamlines order routing, lowers delivery costs, and improves efficiency for brands in e-commerce, retail, pharmaceuticals, and food delivery—serving over 20,000 businesses across 50+ Indian cities.
The investment will bolster integration with diverse delivery networks, enhance real-time allocation tools, and address fragmented logistics infrastructure in smaller urban centers. Pidge aims to become India’s central logistics operating system for scalable digital commerce, competing through its open-network approach against rivals like Shadowfax and Dunzo.
Growth and Profitability Focus
The company reports an annualized revenue of ₹250 crore with 10x year-over-year growth, emphasizing strong margins and a clear profitability roadmap. LVEC’s investment marks its debut in India, signaling confidence in Pidge’s strategy to capture underserved markets while leveraging AI to optimize last-mile delivery.
