Indian AdTech Firm InMobi Secures $350 Million Ahead of Planned 2026 IPO
December 4, 2025
Indian mobile advertising leader InMobi has secured $350 million in a pre-IPO funding round led by Canada’s CPP Investments. Existing backers SoftBank and Carlyle Group also participated. The investment will accelerate product development, expand global operations, and strengthen engineering and sales teams ahead of an anticipated public listing in 2026.
Founded in 2007, InMobi uses AI to connect brands with consumers across 1.8 billion mobile devices globally. Its programmatic ad platform integrates data analytics and privacy-focused targeting, serving clients across Asia, North America, and Europe.
The funding values InMobi at roughly $5 billion, underscoring strong investor interest in mobile ad technology amid rising digital media usage and mobile-centric marketing strategies. The company plans to channel funds into emerging ad formats like connected TV, in-app commerce, and augmented reality campaigns to capture shifting advertising budgets.
While competing against giants such as Google and Meta, InMobi aims to differentiate itself through proprietary AI tools and expansion in high-growth markets. Its 2026 IPO is expected to provide liquidity for early investors while scaling operations in the $500 billion digital advertising sector.
