Marine robotics company EyeROV has secured Rs 13 crore ($1.44 million) in a pre-Series A round co-led by AWE Funds and Unicorn India Ventures.
The capital will fuel advancements in R&D, drive new product innovation, and expand the company’s footprint in domestic and global markets.
Established in 2017, EyeROV specializes in underwater robotics, creating remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and unmanned surface vessels (USVs) for critical sectors like infrastructure, energy, and defense. The company asserts it has completed over 150 projects for 80+ clients spanning power, oil and gas, ports, shipping, and government domains.
Notable clients include Tata Power, NHPC, Adani, ONGC, BPCL, and Maersk, as well as defense entities like the Indian Navy, DRDO, and the Indian Coast Guard. EyeROV also recently landed a Rs 47 crore order from the Indian Navy.
Its technology integrates non-destructive testing (NDT) tools—such as ultrasonic testing, sonar imaging, and AI-powered inspection systems—into robotic platforms. The company serves industries like energy, maritime, infrastructure, and defense through both product sales and robotics-as-a-service (RaaS) offerings.
