AICTE launches ATAL Academy Faculty Development Programme 2023-24 and the Inventors Challenge 2023
2 min readNew Delhi, July 20, 2023 – The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has introduced the launch of the ATAL Academy Faculty Development Programme 2023–24, a visionary step in the direction of remodeling the greater schooling system in India. Hon’ble Chairman, Prof. T.G. Sitharam, inaugurated the ATAL portal and scheme, emphasizing its function in equipping school members with the essential expertise and information for Education 4.0. This initiative aligns with the National Education Policy 2020 and goals to empower educators to grow to be efficient academics, researchers, innovators, and leaders of their respective fields.
Prof. T.G. Sitharam stated, “The ATAL Academy FDPs is a visionary step in the direction of remodeling the greater schooling system in India in alignment with the National Education Policy 2020. The ATAL Academy will empower school members to grow to be efficient academics, researchers, innovators, and leaders of their respective fields. The ATAL Academy may also foster a tradition of lifelong studying amongst school members and improve their skilled development.”
Vice Chairman AICTE, Dr. Abhay Jere, stated: “The ATAL Academy is a singular platform that can present school members with entry to high-quality FDPs on varied matters related for Education 4.0. The ATAL Academy may also allow school members to community with friends and specialists from completely different domains and sectors. The ATAL Academy will create a pool of competent and assured school members who can contribute to the improvement of information society.”
Under the ATAL Academy, school members may have entry to high-quality Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) overlaying technical and non-technical domains. AICTE-approved establishments can conduct offline FDPs in varied fields, together with Engineering, Management, Computer Application, Arts and Crafts, Life Skill Development, Indian Knowledge System, Universal Human Values, and extra. The contest, formally launched by Prof. T.G. Sitharam, builds upon the success of the earlier version and displays AICTE‘s dedication to industry-academia information sharing.
