Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launches Employability Skills Enhancement Program in Delhi

This outstanding initiative is the results of a collaborative effort between the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) and the Wadhwani Foundation.
The occasion was graced with the august presence of Shri Sanjay Murthy IAS, Secretary HigherEducation, Shri Sanjay Kumar IAS, Secretary SchoolEducation, Shri Atul Tiwari IAS, Secretary Ministry of Skill Development, Prof T G Sitharam, Chairman AICTE, Prof Jagadeesh Kumar, Chairman UGC and Shri NS Khalsi IAS, Chairman NCVET.
The programme covers modules pertaining to Effective Speaking and Listeningabilities, impactful writingabilities, Self-Presentation, Interpersonalabilities, Problem Solving and Innovation, Professionalism and Financial Literacy.
The major goal ofEmployabilitySkillsEnhancementProgramis to equip polytechnic college students with importantabilitiesto boost their future careers. It emphasizes sensible expertise and the institution of a robust basis for a affluent skilled journey. In the tutorial 12 months 2023-24, theprogram units bold objectives to upskill 10,000 college students and mentor 500 school members, contributing considerably to the enhancementofemployabilityin the nation’s polytechnic neighborhood.
