AISECT and Scope Global Skills University Announces the 5th Edition of “Kaushal Charcha” for World Youth Skills Day 2024
4 min read15th July 2024: The 5th edition of “Kaushal Charcha,” organized by AISECT and Scope Global Skills University (SGSU), is set to take place from July 15th to 19th, 2024, at SGSU. This event, themed “Youth Skills for Peace and Development,” commemorates World Youth Skills Day 2024 and aims to equip students with the skills necessary for career success and societal contribution.
Over the last four decades, AISECT has been a pioneer in implementing skill development initiatives. Building on this foundation, the 2024 edition of “Kaushal Charcha” will feature a week-long series of conversations with educators, government officials, and industry executives. The primary goal is to provide students with the necessary skills for career success and societal contribution.
The event will feature a variety of workshops focused on critical areas of skill development, such as career counselling, vocational training, and the role of technology in education. These workshops will address themes such as novel approaches to career development, emerging trends in vocational training, and the integration of technology in education.
Key speaker sessions will cover essential topics, including Career Progression with Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programs, an Industry Round Table Discussion, YUVA Samvaad, and an Artificial Intelligence Masterclass. These sessions aim to provide participants with valuable insights and practical knowledge to enhance their skills and career prospects.
Additionally, AISECT will sign MoUs with the Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC), Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSDC), and Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC). These partnerships will enhance the skill development programs and industry collaborations, further strengthening the foundation of skill-based education.
The event will also witness the launch of various initiatives, including Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programs and the inauguration of Centers of Excellence (CoEs) with Hyundai, focusing on industry training and skill development. The Center for Industry Training & Skill Development will also be inaugurated, aiming to provide innovative training to students. A special publication, the PMKK Coffee Table Booklet, will be unveiled, highlighting the journey and achievements of the PMKK initiatives. Furthermore, the AISECT Kaushal Championship will be launched, recognizing, and rewarding the most skilled students across various disciplines.
Award recognitions will be a significant highlight of “Kaushal Charcha.” Offer letters will be presented to placed students, and the contributions of placement coordinators, trainers, mobilizers, and counsellors will be acknowledged, honouring those who have played a key role in skill development and student support.
