Preparations have begun for flight operations from Prayagraj to Ahmedabad, Indore, Kolkata and Dehradun next month.

Aviation company Indigo can start direct flight service to Indore, Ahmedabad and Kolkata and Alliance Air to Dehradun. Direct flight service was also operated from Prayagraj to Indore, Kolkata and Dehradun in the past. Both Alliance and Indigo operated flights for Kolkata-Dehradun, but later it was stopped. Similarly, Indigo also stopped the flight service to Indore last year. The work of expansion of Prayagraj airport has been going on for one year. Now the airport authority has expanded the current terminal.

In such a situation, the capacity of the current terminal has increased from 350 passengers to 850 passengers. With the increase in the capacity of the terminal, the aviation companies have prepared to start the flights that were stopped earlier from here once again. After December 15, flights to Ahmedabad, Indore, Dehradun and Kolkata can be started.

Before the Maha Kumbh, air services are to be started for many important cities of the country. Earlier, in the meeting of the Airport Advisory Committee, it has been told about starting direct air services from here to Pune, Jaipur, Guwahati, Chennai, Jammu, Goa, Nagpur, Patna, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bhopal and Indore. The airport management says that now direct air services are sure to start for all these cities before the Maha Kumbh. The beginning can start with Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Dehradun and Indore service.

Direct air services will be started for many cities before the Maha Kumbh. Aviation companies are making efforts in this direction. As soon as the schedule is released, it will be informed.

  • India sees 74% drop in income disparity since AY15, direct tax collection highest in 14 years

India sees 74 pc drop in income disparity since AY15, direct tax collection highest in 14 years

India sees 74 pc drop in income disparity since AY15, direct tax collection highest in 14 yearsIANS

There has been a cumulative 74.2 per cent decline in income disparity coverage for those earning up to Rs 5 lakh in India, showing that the continuous efforts of government are reaching the bottom of pyramid, leading to increase in income of ‘lower income group’ people, a new report has revealed.

A comparison of disparity in income during assessment year (AY)15 and AY24 by the economic department of the State Bank of India (SBI)

showed that there is a clear rightward shift in the income distribution curve in India, signifying people in lower income brackets are increasing their income to converge towards their share in population.

CBDT meets officials to dispel doubts on faceless tax assessment.

With an increasing alignment with progressive taxation regime, contribution of direct taxes to total tax revenue reached 56.7 per cent in AY24 (54.6 per cent in AY23) — the highest in 14 years.IANS

“Declining income inequality mirroring upward transition of lower income people along with their income is evident as 43.6 per cent individual ITR filers, belonging to income group of less than Rs 4 lakh in AY15 (FY14), have left the lowest income group and shifted upwards,” the findings showed.

Also, 26.1 per cent of the gross income of lowest income group of lower than Rs 4 lakh has shifted upwards in the intermittent period, the study noted.

Female Labour force participation is on the rise (from 23.3 in 2017-18 to 41.7 in 2023-24), with Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Bihar and Gujarat fanning the maximum movement.

With an increasing alignment with progressive taxation regime, contribution of direct taxes to total tax revenue reached 56.7 per cent in AY24 (54.6 per cent in AY23) — the highest in 14 years.

The growth rate of personal income tax (PIT) collections has been surging faster than corporate tax collections since FY21, with PIT increasing by 6 per cent against CIT’s 3 per cent growth, the SBI study noted.

ITRs filed during AY24 witnessed a phenomenal jump, standing at 8.6 crore (against 7.3 crore in AY22). A total of 6.89 crore or 79 per cent of these returns were filed on or before the due date, the concomitant result in the share of returns filed after due date (with fine) thus declining from a high of 60 per cent in AY20 to merely 21 per cent in AY24.

“We believe the total number of ITRs filing for AY25 could swell more than 9 crore by end March 2025 (7.3 crore ITRs have been filed by the due date) while inculcating more discipline amongst the filers,” said the SBI study.

  • Top Benefits of Using a Direct Hire Staffing Agency for Your Business

Things to Keep in Mind When Choosing Business Insurance

If you’ve ever tried to fill any permanent or other long-term positions, then you understand the agony of screening countless applications and managing complex interviews. Despite this, direct hire is still the most ideal choice for companies that want to hire permanent employees.

So, how then can you streamline this recruitment model to get top-tier candidates easily and more effectively? That’s where a direct hire staffing service provider comes in.

What You Should Know About Using Direct Hire Staffing Agencies

So, what are direct hire staffing agencies? A direct hire staffing firm or agency is a company that offers services to simplify your direct hiring processes. These companies handle part of the employee acquisition process so you can focus on the crucial parts such as making the hiring decision.

When you engage a top-ranking direct hire staffing agency like Kinetix, you can bank on the fact that they have everything it takes, not only to find the most appropriate candidates but also to expedite the hiring process.

Top Benefits of Working With a Direct Hire Staffing Agency

Here’s why you should consider teaming up with a staffing agency to streamline your direct hiring efforts:

    1. Access to a Larger Talent Pool

The one thing you’ll appreciate almost immediately when you engage a direct hire staffing agency is its extensive database of potential candidates. This is possible for a couple of reasons. First, such agencies typically have an extensive network of connections spanning across various industries. Additionally, they can reach passive candidates with ease, and they also have effective referral systems that connect them to high-quality candidates.

    2. Time Saving

You may think that the longer it takes to hire permanent employees, the better it will be since you can take all the time you need to determine if they fit perfectly. Well, that makes sense, but what if you were able to run these processes faster, yet still effectively?

A direct hire staffing agency has experts who handle the recruitment process and access to the best technology to expedite your hiring processes. That way, you can still get quality employees without spending an eternity on the recruitment procedure.

    3. Better Quality of Hires

You can see where this is going. If a company has all the tools and resources they need to streamline the recruitment process, you can be sure they will source excellent candidates for the role. A direct hire staffing agency goes beyond using the right tools and resources but also throws in a couple of tricks and techniques to improve the quality of hires.

Thanks to practices like rigorous vetting, cultural compatibility checks, and feedback processing from past placements, these firms keep on finding ways to guarantee the most ideal candidates for the job.

    4. Financial Benefits

It may not seem like it at first, but combining efforts with a direct hire staffing agency can provide your company with amazing financial benefits. Think about the money you’d have to spend on advertising and posting jobs without guaranteed results. Go beyond that and think about training and onboarding costs.

And it’s still not enough. If you hire the wrong candidates, you’ll have increased turnover costs. Don’t also forget about the technology and infrastructure you need to hire correctly. As if that’s not enough, failing to comply with updated labour laws can land you in trouble and make you spend a fortune. We bet you get it now.

Experience These Benefits and Many More Today!

At this point, you are probably wondering whether four reasons are enough to convince you to team up with a direct hire staffing agency. What you don’t know is that there are plenty more reasons, such as enhanced brand reputation, proactive succession for business continuity, easier compliance, and many more. All you have to do is find the right agency for your company.

Kinetix is a great choice, thanks to its focus on filling positions strategically. With hiring techniques that can be customised to meet your business needs, you can be sure you’re getting the best candidate for the job.

IndiGo’s new direct flight is expected to provide a timely boost to Sri Lanka’s tourism revival, offering seamless connectivity and tapping into a key market. Jaffna, with its rich history and cultural significance, is a vibrant city that reflects the resilience and diversity of its people. Its vibrant Tamil heritage is reflected in its traditions, festivals, and historical landmarks.

Visitors to Jaffna can explore iconic sites such as the Jaffna Fort, an architectural testament to the region’s colonial past, and the Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil, a revered Hindu temple that holds both religious and cultural importance. The city’s unique heritage is expected to attract tourists from India and beyond, contributing to the local economy and fostering people-to-people connections.

The company believes that this new route will not only boost tourism but also foster stronger ties between the two nations.

Similarly, the introduction of direct flights between India and Australia in 2013 led to a surge in tourism and trade, strengthening bilateral relations.

  • Honeywell Launches Inncom Direct: A Game Changer for Mid-Market Hotels Aiming to Cut Carbon Emissions

An intuitive energy management system helps hotels monitor energy consumption across properties and automate energy efficiency

DELHI: Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON) announced the launch of INNCOM Direct, an easy-to-install energy management system that uses automation to help improve energy efficiency in mid-market hotel properties. The launch of INNCOM Direct supports Honeywell’s alignment of its business around three compelling megatrends, including automation and the energy transition.

With more than 30% of U.S. hotel rooms typically vacant at any time, INNCOM Direct enables a hotel to manage energy-intensive HVAC systems more efficiently during periods when guestrooms are vacant.

“As hotels become more carbon-conscious, they are taking meaningful steps to show they care about their impact on the environment,” said Billal Hammoud, president and chief executive officer of Honeywell Building Automation. “Until now, mid-market hotels faced fewer options when it came to better managing their HVAC systems with automation. Now, INNCOM Direct is leveling the playing field with an affordable, cloud-based energy management system.”

The INNCOM technology was previously only available to high-end hotel operators. Now, this combination of hardware, software, and cloud monitoring provides mid-market, also known as limited-service, hotels with quick setup and portfolio analytics that can be accessed from mobile devices or a dashboard and can be used either on a single property or across an entire portfolio.

Since empty rooms and common areas do not need the same level of heating or cooling, INNCOM Direct uses a proprietary detection system to identify empty spaces and autonomously adjust the temperature without impacting consumer comfort. Similarly, unrented guest rooms can be set to a specific setting that can be heated or cooled to a more comfortable temperature once a guest checks in. If a guest leaves a room for an extended time, INNCOM Direct can change the temperature to an eco-friendlier temperature that is then automatically adjusted when the guest returns.

When it broke ground on its fifth hotel in Spring Hill, Tenn., Halifax Hospitality wanted ways to control its HVAC use, which can consume as much as 25% of the power bill, so it signed on to use INNCOM Direct. At 92,000 square feet and 159 rooms, this hotel is double the size of what the company would have developed a decade ago, leading to higher operational costs.

“Hotel rooms are getting bigger and bigger, and we needed something that will deliver energy savings, especially when guests aren’t using the room or a common area is empty,” said Hitesh Patel, vice president of Halifax Hospitality. “Utility costs are going up just like anything else. We’re always looking to find the next big thing to cut costs where we can.”
