Hyderabad-based Cygni Energy has launched a certification-ready Sodium-ion 2W battery pack for electric 2Ws. The company shared the following features of the pack on its handles:
> 40 to 50 km range per charge
> 30 mins fast charging
> 3000+ cycles with fast charging
> 15% capacity loss even in extreme temperatures (-20 C & +55C)
The company claims the packs will last 5 years even when used to capacity 2 to 3 times a day. Cygni also invited e-2W OEMs and swapping solution companies to validate the battery pack. The company is also looking to collaborate with drivetrain component manufacturers to co-develop Sodium-ion drivetrain.
