Centre regulates import of laptops, PCs and tablets

The Central authorities on Thursday notified restrictions on import of laptops, tablets, private computer systems and servers.

A notification issued by Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on Thursday stated that although import of this stuff might be allowed towards a licence, sure use circumstances have been exempted from the restrictions.
