Hackers deface over 32 Russian websites with Kremlin on fire video

Hackers have defaced a number of Russian websites with a video exhibiting the Kremlin on fire on the anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine.

At least 32 Russian websites have been hacked. However, it was unclear what number of websites have been defaced, or how the hackers have been capable of deface them, experiences TechCrunch.

A hacker group referred to as “CH01” took the accountability of defacing a sequence of Russian websites.

“Hacker group CH01 in solidarity with all the civilised world, as a way to restore justice and the triumph of the forces of sunshine and goodness, on the anniversary of the terrorist invasion of dictatorial Russia into a robust and unbiased Ukraine, we declare cyber conflict on dictatorship and totalitarianism and the idiocy of Putin’s prison regime,” learn the message in Russian language the hackers posted on a Telegram channel.

“Let the prophecy come true,” the message mentioned. The hackers changed the websites‘ content material with the video exhibiting the Kremlin on fire, alongside with a tune by a Russian rock band named Kino.

Kino was one of the standard rock bands in Russia within the Eighties, and their lyrics typically included themes of freedom.

As the continuing Russian invasion of Ukraine marked a 12 months, President of the war-torn nation Volodymyr Zelensky in a defiant assertion mentioned that “it is a 12 months of our invincibility, this would be the 12 months of our victory”.
