Rhg Signs First Radisson Collection In Maharashtra In Navi Mumbai, Opening In 2030

Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has signed the Radisson Collection Hotel near Navi Mumbai International Airport, introducing its luxury lifestyle brand for the first time in Maharashtra. This development highlights the Group’s expansion strategy within the commercially vibrant Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

Located in Panvel adjacent to the upcoming NMIA, the property will anchor a major infrastructure project set to transform Western India’s aviation sector. The new airport will not only alleviate congestion at Mumbai’s current facility but also drive growth in surrounding business, leisure, and residential zones. The premium hotel will serve as a centerpiece within this evolving corridor, offering luxury accommodations alongside modern urban conveniences.

Launching in Q1 2030, the development will include 350 sophisticated guest rooms and suites, multiple dining options featuring specialty restaurants and rooftop venues, premium wellness amenities including a spa, and adaptable event spaces for corporate functions and social events. Reflecting the brand’s core principles, the hotel will blend elegant design with Mumbai’s multicultural essence.

“Bringing the Radisson Collection to Maharashtra through this Navi Mumbai project supports our growth in India’s most dynamic markets,” stated Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and COO South Asia at RHG. “As the new airport enhances regional connectivity, we foresee increased demand for upscale accommodations. This property will set new standards in luxury hospitality through its distinctive design and service excellence.”

The project extends RHG’s collaboration with Hill Crest Hotels and Resorts Private Limited, following their joint Radisson Blu Plaza Resort & Convention Centre development in Karjat. Debasish Chakraborty, Chairman & MD at Hill Crest Hotels noted: “Our partnership with RHG aligns with our vision to create destinations that embody contemporary luxury while celebrating local character. This hotel will establish itself as a premier hospitality landmark.”

This agreement advances RHG’s strategy to expand its luxury offerings across India’s key metropolitan areas and emerging centers. By combining international standards with regional influences, the Group aims to shape the future of premium hospitality. Davashish Srivastava, Chief Development Officer South Asia at RHG added: “By selecting Navi Mumbai – with its strategic infrastructure growth – we’re demonstrating our commitment to developing signature properties in high-potential locations through trusted partnerships.”
