Hilton announced that Slohh by Roach has opened in Bengaluru, introducing the Curio Collection by Hilton to India and marking the brand’s inaugural lifestyle hotel there.

Created together with Roach Lifescapes, this 221‑room property sits in Whitefield, a major business and tech hub of Bengaluru. Its design draws from the coffee plantations and historic homes of Karnataka’s Malnad area, blending local touches with modern hospitality.

Zubin Saxena, Senior Vice President and Regional Head for South Asia at Hilton, commented, “Bengaluru remains a pivotal market for Hilton in India, driven by its robust business scene and shifting travel patterns. Launching the Curio Collection in South Asia—our first lifestyle brand in the country—represents a major step as we grow our portfolio to satisfy rising demand for unique, experience‑focused stays. This opening shows our commitment to delivering internationally recognised brands to India in a way that resonates locally, mixing character, authenticity, and the hallmark Hilton hospitality.”

Slohh by Roach Bengaluru, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, provides seven room and suite types, many with balconies that look out over Varthur Lake and the Bengaluru skyline. The Malnad Presidential Suite features distinct living and dining spaces inspired by classic plantation houses.

Dining is centred around Nana’s, an all‑day venue serving Malnad‑inspired dishes together with Indian and international fare. The hotel also offers an Executive Club Lounge open to visiting and staying guests.

For conferences, weddings and other events, the hotel presents The Banyan—a 5,000‑sq‑ft pillarless ballroom that can host up to 600 guests, complemented by a 3,000‑sq‑ft pre‑function space, meeting rooms and a boardroom. Wellness amenities feature a temperature‑regulated outdoor pool, a 24‑hour gym, a hammam and a full‑service spa.

The property also offers locally inspired experiences such as a Potter‑in‑Residence studio, the Grandma’s Recipe culinary program, and a curated music lineup that spans jazz, R&B and classic hits.

Tal Shefer, Senior Vice President of Brand Management, Asia Pacific at Hilton, noted, “Every Curio Collection hotel is chosen for its distinct character and sense of place. In India, Slohh by Roach exemplifies our commitment to properties that echo their environment via thoughtful design, bespoke food experiences and locally rooted programming.”

Christina Roach, Founder of Roach Lifescapes, said, “With Slohh by Roach we aimed to build a hotel that truly connects with how people wish to live, crafting a memorable guest experience. Our own upbringing and the home‑style hospitality we grew up with—where food anchors every gathering and everyone feels welcome—shaped this vision. We wanted to translate that feeling into an urban setting through considered design, nostalgic flavours and service that is personal, intuitive and sincerely caring. We’re excited to partner with Hilton to realise this vision as India’s inaugural Curio Collection hotel. The property will echo Bengaluru’s spirit in an authentic yet modern way, giving guests a stay marked by individuality, creativity and genuine local ties.”

Slohh by Roach participates in the Hilton Honors loyalty program, allowing members to earn and redeem points and enjoy various member benefits and digital services.
