ITC Hotels Limited has unveiled the addition of two new Fortune Hotels properties—Fortune Select Nashik and Fortune Jungle Resort Tadoba—bolstering its growth plan in Maharashtra.

These twin agreements highlight ITC Hotels’ strategy to expand into high‑growth leisure, pilgrimage and emerging urban locales, while reinforcing its presence in one of India’s most vibrant hospitality markets.

Maharashtra already hosts six operational ITC Hotels, two of which belong to the Fortune brand, and the company is scaling up by offering a balanced portfolio of business, leisure and destination‑focused properties.

Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited, said, “Maharashtra remains a vital growth driver for ITC Hotels. The launch of these two new Fortune properties underscores our intent to strengthen our footprint in high‑potential tier‑II cities across the state. Nashik blends spirituality, wine culture and rapid urban development, whereas Tadoba is emerging as a premier wildlife tourism hub in the region.”

He added, “This move diversifies our portfolio beyond metropolitan areas, enhancing our leisure and destination‑focused offerings while making a meaningful impact on domestic tourism growth. We aim to marry strong cultural relevance with lasting economic momentum.”

Situated near the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, the Fortune Jungle Resort Tadoba will become the brand’s inaugural nature resort and its third property in Maharashtra. It will offer nature‑themed accommodations complemented by a swimming pool, wellness spa, children’s play area, all‑day dining restaurant, bar and event spaces tailored for leisure guests and wildlife aficionados.

Fortune Select Nashik, slated to open in October 2028, will provide 105 guestrooms together with dining, banquet and meeting facilities, serving both business and leisure travelers.

This expansion reflects ITC Hotels’ strategy to move beyond metropolitan markets, bolster its destination‑focused portfolio, and promote domestic tourism in culturally and commercially important regions.
