The Ritz-Carlton, Pune appoints Ishwinder Gill as General Manager

The Ritz-Carlton, Pune has announced Ishwinder Gill as its new General Manager, boasting over two decades of distinguished experience in international hospitality.

Gill will steer the property’s strategic direction with emphasis on strengthening its luxury positioning, operational efficiency, and guest service excellence.

Prior to this appointment, Gill demonstrated exceptional leadership as General Manager at W Goa, elevating the resort’s status among India’s premier luxury lifestyle destinations. This transition represents his shift from managing a vibrant lifestyle brand to steering a globally recognized luxury hospitality icon.

His professional journey includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Far East Hospitality, where he managed 26 properties across Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Australia. In Singapore, Gill contributed significantly to the success of multiple award-winning upscale properties such as The Barracks Hotel Sentosa, Oasia Resort Sentosa, The Outpost Hotel, and The Clan Hotel.

A graduate of Cornell University and Melbourne’s William Angliss Institute, Gill combines robust academic credentials with extensive international operational expertise, positioning him to guide The Ritz-Carlton, Pune through its forthcoming growth phase.
