V-green Signs Strategic Agreement With Hpcl To Develop Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure At Hpcl Retail Outlets

New Delhi, Dec 30: V-GREEN and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) have entered a strategic collaboration to establish electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS) across HPCL fuel stations nationwide. This partnership will leverage HPCL’s extensive retail network to accelerate the deployment of EV charging infrastructure, enhancing accessibility for electric vehicle users and supporting India’s transition to sustainable mobility.

HPCL, a leading Indian state-owned oil and gas corporation, currently operates over 24,400 retail outlets and manages more than 5,300 EV charging stations under its HP e-Charge brand. This infrastructure forms a robust foundation for scaling EV adoption across the country.

The agreement underscores a critical step in India’s green mobility transition. By utilizing HPCL’s nationwide presence, V-GREEN aims to rapidly expand its charging network while creating synergies between VinFast and HP e-Charge brands within India’s evolving EV ecosystem.

Established by VinFast founder Pham Nhat Vuong, V-GREEN specializes in global EV charging infrastructure development. With 150,000 operational charging ports in Vietnam, the company brings proven expertise to India—one of its priority markets for international expansion.

This collaboration strengthens efforts to build a comprehensive EV ecosystem in India, encompassing manufacturing, charging infrastructure, service networks, and battery recycling solutions.
