The partnership combines Submer’s full‑stack AI infrastructure expertise with ACES’ local delivery capabilities in Saudi Arabia to accelerate the deployment of high‑density compute capacity.
Duabi, UAE, Sept 30: Submer, a full‑stack AI infrastructure provider, announced today that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ACES (Advanced Communications & Electronics Systems), a Saudi digital‑infrastructure firm, to speed the rollout of high‑density, AI‑ready data centres across the Kingdom.
Under the accord, the partners will jointly pursue projects that meet rising AI and high‑performance computing demands. Submer will supply end‑to‑end engineering and technology, while ACES will provide local execution, infrastructure services, and capital.
The scope includes advisory and consultancy for facility planning; design and construction of new and retrofitted sites; IT integration covering compute, networking and monitoring; thermal and power systems — including advanced liquid and immersion cooling; and the possibility of co‑investing in Saudi data‑centre capacity.
As Saudi Arabia advances its Vision 2030 digital and AI agenda, increasing rack densities are redefining power, cooling, facility design and IT integration needs. Together, the partners intend to guide customers from initial planning through deployment and long‑term operation.
“The Kingdom’s AI ambitions are outpacing the infrastructure models that support them,” said Khalid Aljamed, General Manager for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Submer. “Rack densities are stretching traditional design to its limits, and customers often find themselves juggling separate vendors for engineering, construction, integration and financing. By partnering with ACES, we can eliminate much of that complexity and deliver facilities ready for dense AI workloads from day one.”
“This agreement brings together exactly what building AI infrastructure in the region requires,” said Dr. Akram Aburas, Group CEO of ACES. “Submer provides deep engineering and technology throughout the project lifecycle; ACES delivers proven on‑the‑ground execution, market presence and financial strength. Together we can deliver AI‑ready capacity and support the growth of Saudi Arabia’s broader digital‑infrastructure ecosystem.”
