Ashok Vaswani has told Kotak Mahindra Bank’s board that he will not pursue another term as Managing Director & CEO once his current term ends on December 31, 2026.
He said personal reasons are behind his decision not to seek another term.
“The Board, after its meeting today, accepted his decision and has started the process to appoint a new Managing Director & CEO, which will be finished within the required regulatory timelines,” the private sector bank said in a regulatory filing.
