City Union Bank raises FCNR(B) deposit rates to 7.10% - Private sector lender offering 7.10% interest on US dollar-denominated FCNR(B) deposits for NRIs - Apply now for better returns

City Union Bank, a private sector lender, has raised the interest rates on its US dollar‑denominated Foreign Currency Non‑Resident (Bank) [FCNR(B)] deposits to 7.10% per annum for tenures between three and five years.

The new rate is effective from June 10, 2026 and is applicable to Non‑Resident Indian (NRI) customers.

FCNR(B) accounts permit the principal and interest to remain in foreign currency and are fully repatriable.

The bank notes that these deposits come with flexible tenure options and are aimed at NRIs who wish to keep their savings in foreign currency.
