Dhanlaxmi Bank Q1 results: Net profit rises to ₹24.91 crore
2 min readDhanlaxmi Bank posted a net profit of ₹24.91 crore in Q1 FY 27, up from ₹12.18 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. Operating profit rose to ₹51.45 crore compared with ₹33.28 crore a year earlier.
According to the bank’s statement, total business grew to ₹35,190 crore by June 30 from ₹29,051 crore on June 30 2025, a 21.13 % increase. Deposits rose to ₹19,404 crore from ₹16,570 crore over the same period, reflecting a 17 % growth.
CASA deposits climbed to ₹5,591 crore from ₹4,675 crore as of June 30 2025. Retail term deposits increased to ₹10,178 crore versus ₹8,580 crore, up 18.62 %. Gross advances rose to ₹15,786 crore from ₹12,482 crore.
The retail advances portfolio, which includes gold loans, expanded by 52.87 %. Year‑on‑year growth in the gold loan book stood at 75.91 %, taking the outstanding amount to ₹7,105 crore.
Ajith Kumar K K, Managing Director and CEO, commented, “The Q1 results are encouraging and reflect the bank’s sustained efforts over recent years. I am confident that the more than 21 % total business growth recorded in the first quarter will underpin our strategy of sustainable growth for the remainder of the year.”
He added that the Capital‑to‑Risk‑Weighted Assets Ratio (CRAR) of 19.19 % and Provision Coverage Ratio (PCR) of 92.77 % have improved markedly since March 31, underscoring the bank’s focus on prudent growth while meeting regulatory norms. The quarter also saw Gross NPA fall sequentially to 1.82 % and Net NPA to 0.47 %, highlighting the strength and quality of the loan book.
