Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) reported a consolidated net profit of ₹1,427 crore for the December 2025 quarter, marking a 63% year-on-year surge from ₹875.26 crore in the same period last fiscal.

The bank demonstrated notable improvements in asset quality during the quarter. Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) declined to 1.54% compared to 1.83% in the previous September quarter. Net NPAs also contracted to 0.24% from 0.28% quarter-on-quarter.

The bank’s shares traded at ₹36.16 on the BSE at 2:15 PM, reflecting a 2% gain. The stock fluctuated between ₹35.45 and ₹36.75 during the trading session.
