Receivables Exchange of India Ltd declares maiden dividend of 21.6%
2 min readReceivables Exchange of India Ltd (RXIL), a Trade Receivables Discounting System (TReDS) platform backed by SIDBI, National Stock Exchange of India, State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, and Yes Bank, has announced and disbursed an interim dividend of 21.6% on shares with a face value of ₹10.
This dividend declaration marks RXIL as India’s first TReDS platform to distribute capital returns to stakeholders, demonstrating the platform’s operational strength and financial viability in resolving liquidity constraints for MSMEs.
The RXIL TReDS platform connects over 3,200 corporate buyers with more than 70 financiers, including banks and NBFCs, facilitating approximately ₹12,000 crore in monthly receivables financing transactions.
Since its 2016 launch, RXIL has financed over ₹2.6 lakh crore across 1 crore+ invoices, extending working capital support to 57,000+ MSMEs through buyer-backed credit rather than MSME balance sheets.
Ketan Gaikwad, MD & CEO of RXIL, emphasized that the platform has transformed MSME financing by creating a unified digital marketplace where suppliers, corporate buyers, and financial institutions can transact securely.
After turning profitable in 2023, RXIL eliminated accumulated losses in FY24 and reported robust FY25 earnings of ₹52 crore net profit. The company projects ₹72 crore net profit for FY26, enabling its inaugural dividend distribution.
Transaction throughput has surged from ₹223 crore in FY18 to ₹80,457 crore in FY25, reflecting significant platform adoption.
