Alongside the capital, ABP Education will assist YoLearn.ai with educational materials, promotional activities, and distribution channels as the venture aims to deliver customized AI tutoring for K-12 learners across India.
Under this collaboration, ABP Group entities Headword Publishing and KIPS Learning will partner with YoLearn.ai to transform their textbooks into AI-powered tutors via Headword.ai and kipslearning.ai, making these tutors available through the physical books students use in class.
This network spans roughly 25,000 schools and could reach nearly 100 million students. The partners plan to engage 150 million students and train over 150,000 educators in AI-enhanced teaching methods, ultimately striving to provide tailored AI learning experiences to 250 million K-12 students nationwide.
Launched in January 2025 by Kirti Prakash Mishra, YoLearn.ai enables learners to scan a textbook code and converse with an AI tutor using voice. The system accommodates English, Hindi, and 22 additional Indian regional languages.
The tutor delivers spoken responses, visual diagrams, and detailed solution steps via an interactive drawing canvas. It also administers practice exams, assesses answers according to board examination grading standards, forecasts results, and keeps parents informed. The platform aligns with CBSE, ICSE, and state board curricula.
For educators, YoLearn.ai provides a customizable Co-Teacher Avatar reflecting their teaching approach, plus more than 50 AI-driven resources for lesson design, worksheets, assignments, evaluations, quizzes, and classroom displays. School leaders can view dashboards tracking learning results, weak areas, engagement, and individual progress.
