Ashneer Grover, former managing director and co‑founder of BharatPe, has introduced Fund My Staff, a fintech solution that lets employers guarantee loans for their employees. The announcement was shared via a LinkedIn post on Thursday.

The service targets companies wishing to extend credit facilities to their workforce, especially to staff members who lack a credit history or have limited access to financing.

Through the platform, employers can add employees, define loan limits, review applications, and approve them by serving as guarantors. Upon approval, the loan is transferred to the employee, who repays it in equal monthly installments.

Employees also have the option to submit a loan request directly to their employer. Once the employer gives the go‑ahead, the loan is processed and repaid through the agreed EMI schedule.

Fund My Staff operates as a Lending Service Provider (LSP) adhering to the Reserve Bank of India’s digital lending regulations. Loans are originated and sanctioned by RBI‑registered lending partners; the site currently lists Ash Grove Capital Private Limited, an RBI‑registered NBFC, as its partner.

The platform clarifies that employers do not fund the loan amount themselves; they merely act as guarantors while the employee receives the money and repays it over the chosen term.

Fund My Staff was built by Delhi‑based Third Unicorn, the venture launched by Grover and Aseem Ghavri after Grover’s departure from BharatPe. In 2024 the firm rolled out ZeroPe, a fintech app aimed at financing medical expenses. It also debuted CrickPe, a fantasy cricket platform that ceased operations in February of the previous year.
