Fintech company CRED achieved an operating revenue of Rs 2,735 crore in FY25, marking 16% year-over-year growth. Concurrently, its operational losses decreased by 51% to Rs 298 crore, as stated in the company’s official release.
The firm maintained gross margins of approximately 70% during the fiscal year. Despite operational improvements, CRED reported net losses of Rs 1,457 crore—narrowed by 11.5% YoY—attributed to non-operational costs including ESOP expenses and depreciation.
Monthly transacting users grew 14.5% to 1.26 crore, while transaction frequency surged 34% to 14.4 monthly transactions per user. Total payment volume increased by 23% YoY to Rs 8.5 lakh crore.
Enhanced monetization was driven by user adoption of multiple products—45% of active members utilized at least three offerings. This contributed to an average revenue per user (ARPU) of roughly Rs 2,000 annually.
Lending remained a primary revenue driver with assets under management reaching Rs 22,000 crore. The company expanded its ecosystem across payments, credit services, and financial tools—launching CRED Money, credit management features, a PPI wallet, and CRED Cash+. Its insurance marketplace also grew through partnerships with additional providers.
According to TheKredible, CRED secured over $1 billion across nine funding rounds. A $72 million down round in May 2025 adjusted its valuation to $3.64 billion from $6.4 billion in 2022. The company anticipates achieving full profitability in FY26.
