Funding Alert: Nutrition Brand Secures Investment
Bengaluru-based Good Monk, a leading brand under Superfoods Valley, has secured Rs 33 crore ($3.65 million) in a pre-Series A funding round. The investment was spearheaded by RPSG Capital Ventures, with additional backing from Sharrp Ventures and Hyperscale Ventures, valuing the company at approximately Rs 175 crore ($20 million). Founders’ families also contributed to this round.
Earlier reports from Entrackr had hinted at this development. Prior to this round, the company had raised nearly $3 million. Recently, Good Monk gained visibility after appearing on Shark Tank Season 4, where it secured an investment deal with Vineeta Singh, co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics.
The new funds will fuel product innovation, including research into new nutrition formats, and expand distribution in Tier II and III markets. Part of the capital will also strengthen brand visibility and consumer education efforts.
Co-founded by Amarpreet Singh Anand and Sahiba Kaur, Good Monk specializes in preventive nutrition through sprinkle-on supplements designed to integrate seamlessly into everyday meals. The brand sells directly through its website and major e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart. Over the past 18 months, the company has reported robust growth and achieved contribution margin positivity (CM3 level).
Operating in a rapidly evolving preventive nutrition sector, Good Monk aims to capitalize on increasing consumer demand for convenient, health-focused products. The latest funding will support portfolio expansion and broader online market penetration across India.
