Hilton and NILE Hospitality have signed an agreement to add five Hampton by Hilton properties across India, deepening their collaboration through a strategic licensing arrangement. These new additions aim to serve India’s rapidly expanding mid-market hospitality sector and will expand the brand’s worldwide presence across its 3,000+ property portfolio.

The initial development phase includes 350+ rooms distributed across Amritsar (two properties), Vrindavan, Raipur, and Lonavala. Scheduled to launch within two years, these hotels will combine Hampton by Hilton’s global standards with customized approaches to design, service, and amenities catering specifically to Indian travelers.

As the top-ranked lodging franchise in Entrepreneur Magazine® since 2009, the upper midscale brand has adapted its offerings for the Indian market. Refinements include redesigned room and bathroom configurations, mandatory fitness facilities across all locations, and special attention to sleep quality through premium bedding systems.

Culinary concepts feature notable upgrades, with locally-inspired breakfast selections, 24-hour coffee stations, and “Sunny Sides”—an exclusive full-service restaurant offering complimentary breakfast created specifically for the brand’s Indian market entries.

Senior Vice President of Development for Asia Pacific at Hilton, Clarence Tan, commented: “Our continued collaboration with NILE Hospitality enables us to serve more travelers nationwide with trusted accommodation solutions. These properties demonstrate our partner’s dedication to excellence and capitalize on Hampton by Hilton’s continued global momentum within India’s growing demand for quality, value-driven stays.”

Jenny Milos, Vice President of Brand Management for Suites & Focused Service in Asia Pacific at Hilton, stated: “Our brand success stems from maintaining core hospitality values while embracing thoughtful regional adaptation. As we grow across Asia Pacific, guests will experience our signature ‘Hamptonality’ culture—friendly service paired with consistent quality—complemented by market-specific enhancements that preserve accessibility.”

Vikram Singh Chauhan, Founder and CEO of NILE Hospitality, remarked: “This collaboration represents a transformative phase for our organization, focused on co-creating hospitality solutions aligned with India’s expanding midscale segment. Our location strategy targets cities experiencing simultaneous growth in spiritual tourism, business travel, and infrastructure development—markets where branded lodging supply currently lags behind accelerating demand.”

All Indian Hampton by Hilton properties will integrate with Hilton Honors, offering direct-booking benefits including flexible point redemptions, member-exclusive rates, complimentary standard WiFi, and digital amenities through the Hilton Honors app—encompassing mobile check-in, room selection, and Digital Key access.
