JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort and Spa appoints Vivek Gomes Pereira as General Manager

JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort and Spa has named Vivek Gomes Pereira as its General Manager. He has been involved with the property from its pre‑opening stage and oversaw the team during the launch, marking the property as Marriott International’s 10,000th worldwide.
A graduate of the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD), Pereira brings more than 20 years of luxury‑hospitality expertise. His background includes senior positions at The Oberoi Group and Marriott International, covering hotel operations, food & beverage, staff development and commercial results.
Prior to Marriott, Pereira spent over ten years with The Oberoi Group in Mumbai and Bengaluru, moving up through various food‑and‑beverage leadership roles. In 2024 he moved to Marriott International as Hotel Manager at JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, and then led the pre‑opening efforts for JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort and Spa.
Speaking about his appointment, Vivek remarked, “JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort and Spa was founded on the belief that Ranthambore offers more than just a safari. With 127 keys comprising luxury tented suites, private family villas and a Presidential Suite, four unique dining outlets, Spa by JW, and a schedule of immersive cultural and wellness programmes, we have crafted a destination that invites guests to linger, explore further and return. I feel privileged to steer this vision forward with my team and to create memorable experiences for every visitor.”
In his new capacity, Pereira will aim to reinforce the resort’s reputation as a premier luxury wildlife retreat while enhancing guest satisfaction, driving business performance and nurturing talent.
Recognized for his focus on observation and mentorship, Pereira’s leadership style emphasizes building high‑performing teams and empowering associates to own the guest experience. His appointment aligns with JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort and Spa’s ambition to become one of India’s top luxury wildlife resorts.
