Hilton has reached its global milestone of 9,000 hotels, reflecting an expansion pace of nearly three new openings daily since hitting the 8,000-hotel mark just one year prior. This sustained growth has been fueled by robust developer confidence in the company’s diverse brand portfolio and significant conversion activity across markets.
“While we prioritize delivering seamless guest experiences, our commitment to being developers’ preferred partner remains equally strong,” stated Christian Charnaux, Hilton’s executive vice president and chief development officer. “The achievement of operating 9,000 properties worldwide underscores this dedication. Our brands consistently generate superior returns through industry-leading performance. With only 5 percent of current global room inventory and 21 percent of industry-wide rooms under construction within our pipeline, we see substantial potential to extend our presence far beyond this pivotal milestone.”
Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort and Spa became the 9,000th property, bringing the luxury brand to the company’s growing Texas portfolio. The redesigned 496-room retreat features 34 standalone villas and an adults-exclusive level, with all accommodations showcasing sophisticated design elements inspired by the Texas Hill Country’s natural landscapes.
