Hyatt announces Hong Kong’s first Andaz Hotel, opening in 2027

Hyatt has forged a management partnership with Wing Tai Properties Limited and CSI Properties Limited to introduce Andaz Hong Kong Central, marking the brand’s debut in the city. Set to open in 2027, the property will anchor Central Crossing—an ambitious mixed-use development blending premium offices, green spaces, and restored heritage structures at 118 Wellington Street.

Part of Hyatt’s Lifestyle Group, the 125-room hotel will showcase suites, a communal Living Room concept, all-day dining venues, and a wellness facility. The design harmonizes Hong Kong’s cultural contrasts—tradition with innovation, Eastern heritage with Western influences—inviting visitors to experience the city’s creative pulse.

The groundbreaking project will also debut the first-ever “Andaz Village” globally—a curated lifestyle destination featuring bespoke wellness offerings and gourmet brands.

Nestled in Hong Kong’s vibrant Central district, the hotel offers proximity to renowned culinary venues and cultural landmarks like Tai Kwun and PMQ. Connectivity is enhanced through direct walkway access to MTR stations and the Airport Express.

The property joins Andaz’s expanding Asia Pacific portfolio, including upcoming Shanghai and Bangkok locations in 2024–2026, plus the brand’s Australian debut at Gold Coast in mid-2026.
