Hyatt Announces Signing Of India’s Second Jdv By Hyatt Hotel, The Landmark Kanpur

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced The Landmark Kanpur, marking the company’s strategic expansion in India’s hospitality sector. Owned by Som Datt Landmark Hotels and Recreations Private Limited, this property in one of Kanpur’s most prestigious neighborhoods is scheduled to open in 2026 as part of the JdV by Hyatt brand.

Featuring 170 rooms, the property will include a spa, four dining outlets, and extensive event facilities. A standout highlight is the 21st-floor lawn spanning 7,200 square feet, designed to accommodate both corporate and social gatherings. The renovation aligns with the JdV by Hyatt brand’s ethos, celebrating the character of its surroundings through independent design.

JdV by Hyatt properties emphasize authentic connections with their locale, inviting guests and residents to experience neighborhood vibrancy through thoughtful design and locally inspired experiences. The Landmark Kanpur aims to create a distinctive lodging experience in Kanpur through its contemporary approach to hospitality.
