MAYFAIR Hotels and Resorts strengthens sales leadership with three senior appointments

MAYFAIR Hotels & Resorts has strengthened its sales leadership by naming three Deputy General Managers for Sales & Marketing, supporting the company’s strategic goals of market growth, revenue enhancement, and relationship-focused leadership in pivotal regions.

Akhil Tanwar steps into the role of Deputy General Manager – Sales & Marketing at MAYFAIR’s Northern Regional Office in Delhi. With more than two decades in hospitality, Tanwar offers extensive knowledge in sales strategy development, corporate relationship management, and destination-focused business expansion. His background includes leadership positions with prominent organizations such as Clarion, InterContinental Hotels Group, Jaypee Hotels, Radisson Hotel Group, and IHCL (Taj Hotels). His most recent position before joining MAYFAIR was Associate Director of Sales at Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre and Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre.

Ashwani Kumar has been named Deputy General Manager – Sales & Marketing at MAYFAIR’s Northern Regional Office in Delhi. Kumar contributes 17 years of varied background spanning hospitality, event management, and sales operations. Starting at The Oberoi, New Delhi in F&B Events, he subsequently held senior positions at Weddingz.in, Ramada by Wyndham Neemrana, and The Lalit Group of Hotels, Delhi, where he last served as Associate Head of Sales.

Madhuri Nilesh Dixit assumes the position of Deputy General Manager – Sales & Marketing for Western operations, headquartered in Mumbai. Boasting over 16 years of professional background, Dixit is recognized for her expertise in sales planning, business expansion, and brand positioning. Her career includes leadership roles at distinguished hospitality brands including JW Marriott Goa, Hilton Shillim Estate Retreat & Spa in Lonavala, and Fairmont Jaipur. She is particularly noted for her strategic acumen, client-focused methodology, and talent for amplifying brand presence across strategic markets.
