Amit Sangwan appointed Cluster General Manager of Novotel Goa Candolim and Novotel Goa Resort & Spa

Novotel announced its appointment of Amit Sangwan as Cluster General Manager overseeing both Novotel Goa Candolim and Novotel Goa Resort & Spa.

With more than twenty years in the hospitality sector, Sangwan has developed significant skills in operational management, enhancing guest experiences, and team leadership across various hotel categories. He transitions from his previous position as General Manager at Novotel Ahmedabad starting May 2023, where he improved commercial results, streamlined operations and maintained high guest satisfaction ratings.

Sangwan has earned multiple industry recognitions, such as inclusion in the Top 5 Business Hotel General Managers at the 2024 Hospitality Horizon Awards, Gujarat’s Best General Manager honor from CMO Asia Awards, and Most Admired GM of the Year from the International Hospitality & Travel Awards. His career includes leadership positions with prominent hotel groups, managing extensive operations, diverse F&B concepts, pre-opening projects, and resort destinations.

As Cluster General Manager, he will direct strategic planning, operational management, and revenue growth for both properties. Key priorities include reinforcing brand identity, elevating guest engagement, and developing sustainable growth across leisure tourism, meetings/events business, and dining experiences.
