BeKind Hotels and Resorts is rolling out a collection of Diwali festivities at its Meyyafushi Maldives and Fushifaru Maldives properties, providing Indian visitors with curated private events and themed dining across its island getaways.
At Meyyafushi Maldives, visitors can secure a secluded sandbank exclusively for a private Diwali gathering with family and friends. Reachable by boat and encircled by the Indian Ocean, this sandbank setup can be enhanced with a variety of authentic Indian dishes.
Travelers can also commence Diwali with a special breakfast at Bubble, offered at a discounted rate and situated with views of the lagoon. During the evening, the resort will serve a Diwali-themed thali dinner on the beach at an extra cost, introducing traditional Indian tastes to the island environment.
Fushifaru Maldives, situated in Lhaviyani Atoll, will present a more laid-back Diwali offering, blending the festival with the boutique property’s lagoon activities, wellness programs and island time. Guests can spend the day discovering the resort before ending the festivities with a quiet dinner beneath the night sky.
Ahmed Siaar, Cluster General Manager, BeKind Hotels and Resorts, stated, “Diwali is a festival of light, unity and new beginnings, and there is something truly unique about feeling those emotions while surrounded by the Maldives’ natural beauty. At BeKind, we aim for our guests to celebrate in a manner that feels personal and significant.”
Emphasizing the private sandbank option, he continued, “Being able to reserve a secluded sandbank solely for your family and loved ones makes the event genuinely exceptional; it turns Diwali from a standard holiday into a memory that is entirely your own.”
According to Siaar, the properties intend to merge familiar festival highlights with the Maldivian backdrop, from oceanfront Indian meals and lagoon-view breakfasts to spaces allowing families to connect away from their daily schedules.
Through this Diwali initiative, BeKind Hotels & Resorts is establishing Meyyafushi and Fushifaru as separate choices for Indian tourists wishing to pair the Festival of Lights with a Maldives holiday. While Meyyafushi builds its package around the exclusive sandbank event and festive dining, Fushifaru delivers a more close-knit island getaway in Lhaviyani Atoll.
