Centara brings signature hospitality to Nepal with Himalayan Hideaway Resort Pokhara

Himalayan Hideaway Resort Pokhara, part of The Centara Collection, commenced operations on January 1, 2026, signifying Centara Hotels and Resorts’ inaugural venture in Nepal and underscoring the Thailand-based group’s global growth strategy.

Perched amidst Kaskikot’s serene hills, 35 minutes from Pokhara, this secluded sanctuary merges modern comforts with dramatic Himalayan vistas. Guests enjoy panoramic views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain) and direct access to Sarangkot Loop Trail, creating an inspiring backdrop for cultural immersion, relaxation, and wellness pursuits.

Showcasing The Centara Collection’s emphasis on distinctive location-driven properties, the resort offers 42 generously proportioned accommodations spanning 75 to 128 square meters. Wood-toned interiors with Nepali craftsmanship characterize Deluxe Garden Terrace rooms, Skylight Suites, and Pool Villas, all featuring private gardens or balconies. Select units include separate living areas, with flexible configurations accommodating couples, families, and groups. Extra beds are available in all room categories.

Wellness amenities feature Cense by SPA Cenvaree, an infrared sauna, yoga sessions, a fitness center, and an outdoor pool framed by mountain panoramas. Culinary offerings highlight regional flavors across four venues: The Bistro presents global and Nepalese fare; Chulo specializes in Pan-Asian cuisine; Summit offers mountain-inspired cocktails and tapas; while the Tea House serves locally sourced brews with snacks. Private dining is available for in-room experiences.
