Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel has completed a significant renovation of guest accommodations with the reopening of its redesigned North Wing, reflecting the latest phase in a comprehensive property enhancement initiative.
The redesigned wing offers enhanced comfort and contemporary amenities for travelers, featuring revitalized interiors that reinforce the property’s status as a premier destination in Tanzania’s commercial capital. This modernization complements existing culinary, recreational, and meeting facilities, solidifying the hotel’s competitive position in Dar es Salaam’s luxury hospitality sector.
Newly upgraded accommodations showcase modern design elements with intuitive lighting and climate controls, advanced entertainment systems, and contemporary bathrooms featuring walk-in rain showers. The redesign emphasizes functional sophistication through a harmonious balance of aesthetics and practical comfort.
“This renovation demonstrates our dedication to offering outstanding hospitality experiences,” stated Charles Mbuya, Acting General Manager. “The improved accommodations directly align with our service philosophy and guest expectations.”
Mbuya further revealed upcoming enhancements: “Beginning in January, we’ll commence Phase 2 of our property improvement strategy by upgrading the South Wing to match these elevated standards. This phase will also introduce a completely new Maisha Spa facility with dedicated women’s amenities, creating an unmatched wellness destination in the city. These renovations will proceed without disrupting guest activities.”
To celebrate the wing’s reopening, the property is offering introductory rates starting at USD 159 for single occupancy and USD 199 for double occupancy through March 31, 2026, allowing travelers to experience the transformed accommodations at special rates.
