This property represents a key milestone in our Asian expansion strategy, following the eagerly awaited arrivals of Fairmont Hanoi and Fairmont Tokyo. More than just a lodging option, this vibrant social hub invites residents and international visitors to gather, celebrate, connect, and immerse themselves in the city’s lively spirit, allowing us to truly Make Special Happen for every guest.”
Designed by Thai architectural and interior design practice PIA, Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit takes inspiration from Thailand’s botanical heritage.
Floral motifs run through the guestrooms and public spaces, highlighted by a lobby chandelier inspired by the golden ratchaphruek, Thailand’s national flower. The fixture consists of 4,166 glass elements and over 35,000 crystal beads.
The overall design blends residential‑style interiors with communal gathering areas, suited to both solo travelers and larger groups.
Dining plays a central role at the new hotel, with seven outlets set to open gradually throughout 2026.
Harper’s presents a North‑American‑French brasserie concept that blends Parisian and New York influences, while AELA Social Bar shifts from a daytime lounge to an evening cocktail venue. CAYA Pool Club takes cues from Bangkok’s night markets, offering modern twists on Thai street food and cocktails.
Another upcoming venue, Wiggle Room, is slated to debut in mid‑September 2026. Located beneath the hotel with a private entrance from Sukhumvit Soi 18, this supper club will feature live music, cabaret‑style performances, cocktails, and dining centered around a dedicated stage.
The culinary lineup will expand in December with two concepts on levels 32 and 33. One will fuse Italian and Japanese flavors, while the other will showcase contemporary Thai cuisine.
Wallapa Traisorat, Chief Executive Officer and President of Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC), remarked, “Bringing Fairmont to Thailand for the first time is a significant milestone for AWC and our enduring partnership with Accor. We thank the distinguished guests, partners, Accor, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and all teams whose collaboration made this achievement possible. Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit embraces the brand’s Wellness Without Walls philosophy, extending wellbeing beyond the dedicated spa and fitness center into various facets of the guest experience.
The Fairmont Spa finds its inspiration in jasmine, a symbol of Thai hospitality and purity, while Fairmont Studio provides dedicated zones for yoga, cardio, and strength training. The hotel’s Fairmont Fit program is crafted to help guests maintain their fitness and wellness routines during their stay.
Jerome Lobier, General Manager of Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit, said, “Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit reflects the energy of Bangkok and the spirit of Sukhumvit, offering a place where international travelers and the local community can come together to connect, celebrate, and experience the finest the city has to offer.”
The property provides over 21,500 sq ft (2,000 sq m) of adaptable event space across three floors, aimed at corporate meetings, international conferences, weddings, gala dinners, and social celebrations.
The event offering centers on the Signature Grand Ballroom, featuring a 12‑metre‑high ceiling and a dedicated arrival forecourt. Additional facilities include a second ballroom, seven breakout rooms, Couture Hall, and several flexible meeting areas.
The hotel also welcomes families with dedicated children’s experiences and a Kids Club, while pets weighing up to 30 kg are allowed with designated amenities.
Guests choosing Fairmont Gold enjoy the brand’s “hotel within a hotel” experience, which includes a private reception, exclusive lounge, curated food and beverage service, and concierge assistance.
Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit has been designed to LEED Gold standards, incorporating biophilic design, water‑recycling systems, smart energy management, enhanced indoor air quality, EV charging infrastructure, and a heat‑reducing façade.
These sustainability measures align with AWC’s ‘Building Better Future’ approach as well as the broader environmental goals of Fairmont and Accor.
With its Thailand debut, Fairmont expands its Asian portfolio while entering Bangkok with a property that combines luxury accommodation, dining, wellness, events, and social experiences in the Sukhumvit district.
