Holiday Inn Resort Kathmandu, Budhanilkantha appoints Suprabhath Roy Chowdhury as General Manager

Effective August 7, 2026, Suprabhath Roy Chowdhury has been named General Manager of Holiday Inn Resort Kathmandu, Budhanilkantha. He will oversee the resort’s strategy and operations, aiming to bolster its market standing, enrich guest experiences, and sustain growth.

Roy Chowdhury brings a wealth of hospitality expertise from IHG properties across South West Asia and India. Prior to this, he was the Opening General Manager for the inaugural voco hotel in the South West Asia region, a role he has held since April 2024.

Earlier IHG positions held by him include General Manager at Holiday Inn Mayur Vihar, Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage at Crowne Plaza Nairobi, and Director of Food & Beverage at Holiday Inn Mayur Vihar.

While at Holiday Inn Mayur Vihar, he was also appointed Regional Champion (West) for Food & Beverage for IHG Hotels in India, acknowledging his impact on the group’s F&B initiatives.

Drawing on his background in hotel operations, food and beverage, and hotel launches, Roy Chowdhury will partner with the resort team to pursue operational excellence and further enhance Holiday Inn Resort Kathmandu, Budhanilkantha’s standing in Kathmandu’s evolving hospitality market.
