IHG debuts Vignette Collection in India and South West Asia with the opening of The Aarlis Hotel Panchkula

IHG Hotels & Resorts has unveiled the opening of The Aarlis Hotel Panchkula, Vignette Collection, marking the first property of the Vignette Collection brand in India and South‑West Asia. This 145‑room venue becomes part of IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio and joins a worldwide assortment of distinctive hotels that highlight local character while delivering the advantages of the IHG network.

Set against the Shivalik Hills in Panchkula—part of the Chandigarh Tricity—the hotel serves both business and leisure guests. It provides easy access to Morni Hills, Sukhna Lake, the Rock Garden, the Capitol Complex and nearby commercial districts.

Vignette Collection, IHG’s inaugural collection brand, was launched to satisfy rising demand for unique luxury stays backed by the reliability of the IHG name and its IHG One Rewards loyalty programme. The collection currently includes 34 hotels in 17 countries, with another 45 properties under development globally.

The property offers a variety of rooms and suites equipped with smart‑room technology, automated climate controls lighting and contemporary interiors lighting. Guests can select venues— including Sapio, Cabinet V, Wakerie, Jigger and the rooftop spot Sky VI. Additional amenities feature The Aarlis Lounge, private cabanas, a spa, salon, fitness centre, swimming pool and roughly 30,000 sq ft of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, highlighted by the Aura Grand Ballroom.

In line with the Vignette Collection brand philosophy, the hotel introduces Venu‑Nada, its signature Memorable Ritual, offered each evening from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The experience blends the lighting of traditional oil lamps with live flute and tabla performances inspired by local customs.

Through the Means For Good initiative, the hotel has teamed up with Chhoti Si Asha to support underprivileged women by sourcing locally crafted guest amenities and gifts, fostering sustainable livelihood opportunities within the community.

The Aarlis Hotel Panchkula now joins other Vignette Collection locations across the UAE, Kuwait, Portugal, the United States and Australia, further expanding the brand’s global reach.
