IHG Hotels and Resorts appoints Leanne Harwood as Senior Vice President, Global Sales

IHG Hotels and Resorts has appointed Leanne Harwood as Senior Vice President (SVP), Global Sales. Based in Atlanta, Harwood will oversee the company’s global sales strategy, performance and customer engagement across its international markets.

Harwood brings more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including over two decades with IHG. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Luxury, Lifestyle and Managed Hotels, Americas, a position she held since March 2024. In this role, she was responsible for the operations and performance of IHG’s luxury and lifestyle hotel portfolio across the region.

Throughout her tenure with IHG, Harwood has held leadership positions spanning sales, commercial and operations functions across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Japan and Australasia, gaining extensive experience in managing teams and business operations across diverse markets.

In her new role, she will lead IHG’s Global Sales organisation, with a focus on strengthening customer relationships and driving growth across the corporate, group, meetings and events segments worldwide.
