Madifushi Private Island Maldives partnered with Tatabye Tours to hold exclusive travel‑trade showcases in Bengaluru on May 5 and Hyderabad on May 7, part of its India outreach effort to deepen ties with Indian travel agents.
These gatherings united agents from the two cities for networking, resort presentations and talks about the rising demand for high‑end Maldivian holidays among Indian travelers, while also spotlighting the resort’s luxury amenities and partnership prospects.
Nestled in the heart of Meemu Atoll, roughly a 35‑minute seaplane ride from Malé, Madifushi Private Island Maldives offers an exclusive luxury retreat amid the Maldives’ natural splendor. Launched in 2023, the property comprises 80 villas—30 beach villas and 50 water villas—each featuring a private pool. Designed to fuse contemporary style with Maldivian aesthetics, the villas provide spacious accommodations, with the smallest beach villa covering 143 square metres. The resort also delivers curated dining, wellness facilities and personalised service tailored for luxury leisure guests and honeymooners.

Ali Shakir, Group General Manager, Madifushi Private Island Maldives, said, “Hyderabad and Bengaluru each gave us a distinct flavour. In Bengaluru, agents focused on learning about the brand and assessing its market potential, whereas in Hyderabad, the trade partners already possessed solid product knowledge and were eager to benchmark and seal deals. We are very pleased with the turnout in both cities, the quality of the conversations and the insightful questions raised. We truly enjoy these sessions and look forward to many more.”
Ibrahim Inad, Commercial Director, Madifushi Private Island Maldives, said, “Over the past few days we explored two vibrant Indian cities, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, and the response we received was remarkable. The travel agents we met were highly productive, and our interactions remained insightful and engaging throughout. Across both locations we connected with more than 150 agents and were delighted to introduce and showcase our exceptional offerings. The enthusiasm, interest and positive feedback we have seen are extremely encouraging.”
Roshan Jain, Founder and Director of Sales and Marketing, Tatabye Tours, said, “At Tatabye we believe that meaningful collaborations create memorable journeys. Our partnership with Madifushi Private Island Maldives as co‑host for the Bengaluru and Hyderabad showcases reflects our commitment to delivering elevated Maldivian luxury experiences to the Indian travel community.”
The roadshow will continue with stops in Delhi on May 9 and Mumbai on May 11.
