Oberoi Group and Bhartiya to launch 20 wellness-focused luxury resorts

Bhartiya Hospitality, a division of the Bhartiya Group, and EIH Limited, the flagship arm of The Oberoi Group, have revealed a joint venture to develop and manage a collection of twenty ultra‑luxury lifestyle resorts across India and selected overseas locations.

The alliance will merge Bhartiya’s skill in crafting integrated lifestyle communities with The Oberoi Group’s celebrated hospitality expertise and service standards. The inaugural trio of properties is slated for Coorg, Kabini and Hampi, with launch dates aimed for 2030.

Each resort will showcase design‑forward architecture, richly landscaped gardens and fluid indoor‑outdoor living, emphasizing wellness, conscious cuisine and tailor‑made guest journeys. The partners describe the concept as “joyful wellness,” promoting a slower, more meaningful travel experience rather than traditional luxury.

Commenting on the collaboration, Snehdeep Aggarwal, Founder and Chairman of the Bhartiya Group, remarked, “Beyond mere resorts, I envision creating blue‑zone sanctuaries where people live, laugh and love more fully. In this new realm guests will arrive to unwind, replenish and transform – wellness here feels joyous and plentiful. I greatly cherish our partnership with The Oberoi Group as we bring this vision to fruition.”

Arjun Oberoi, Executive Chairman of The Oberoi Group, added, “We are thrilled to join forces with Bhartiya on this unique vision. Design will anchor every resort, with immersive gardens and thoughtfully composed spaces shaping the guest experience. The harmonious dialogue between built form and landscape will yield settings that are both restorative and inspiring, while echoing the timeless elegance and meticulous detail synonymous with The Oberoi Group.”

Vikram Oberoi, Chief Executive Officer of The Oberoi Group, further noted, “Through this partnership with Bhartiya to develop twenty new resorts operated by EIH, we extend our ethos of intuitive, personalised service into a wellness‑enhanced hospitality offering. Situated in destinations conducive to longer stays, each interaction will be deliberately curated to engage the senses and forge enduring memories, leaving departing guests with an insatiable urge to return.”

The long‑term aspiration of the partnership is to establish twenty luxury lifestyle resorts that intertwine architecture, wellness, sustainability and bespoke hospitality across India and chosen international markets.
