Pride Hotels marks 40-hotel milestone with opening of Pride Plaza Indore

This launch marks a milestone for the group, making Pride Plaza Indore the 40th operating hotel and the eighth property owned outright.

For S.P. Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of Pride Hotels, a native of Sagar district in Madhya Pradesh, the opening signifies a homecoming to his native state.

“We are delighted to open our own hotel in the heart of India, Madhya Pradesh, in Indore. This property is especially meaningful to us; it is the group’s eighth owned hotel, and having it in my home state of Madhya Pradesh makes this moment deeply personal for me and the entire Pride Hotels team,” said Jain.

Pride Plaza Indore is the group’s second hotel in the city, alongside Pride Premier Indore. The new establishment offers 141 rooms, a swimming pool, six event spaces, and three food‑and‑beverage outlets, which include a poolside lounge and bar.

The banquet and lawn areas have been tailored for weddings, corporate functions and social events, and the hotel will also provide specialty dining and butler service.

The hotel embraces Pride’s 5 Senses service philosophy, infusing local culture into the guest experience via design and artwork, fragrances, Madhya‑Pradesh‑inspired cuisine, and music drawn from the Indore Gharana.

Following the launch, Pride Hotels & Resorts now runs five hotels in Madhya Pradesh, located in Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain and Jabalpur. Indore remains the sole city in the state that hosts two Pride properties.

Established in 1987, Pride Hotels & Resorts has grown to 40 operating hotels comprising 3,204 keys. The chain also holds 33 confirmed pipeline contracts, adding an additional 2,367 keys.

Upon completion of its pipeline, Pride anticipates a portfolio exceeding 70 hotels and 5,500 keys nationwide, complemented by more than 50 food‑and‑beverage outlets and roughly 3.5 lakh square feet of banquet space.
