People Forum of India Appoints Shri Lakshan Dhiraj

New Delhi, October 6, 2025: In a significant development, the People Forum of India (National Bharat Sevak Samaj), a Government of India Organisation, has named Shri Lakshan Dhiraj as the National Chairman of its Youth Wing. The decision was officially endorsed by Dr. S. Manimozhiyaan, National Chairman of the Forum, and took effect on Monday, October 6, 2025.
An official release from Dr. Bhargav Mallappa, National Deputy Chairman and In-charge of Administration & Organization, confirms that Shri Dhiraj will spearhead nationwide youth-centric programs. His mandate includes fostering national unity, civic engagement, and community development among India’s younger population.
“This appointment underscores the Forum’s ongoing dedication to youth empowerment and cultivating leaders who align with India’s growth objectives,” stated Dr. Mallappa. “Shri Lakshan Dhiraj’s dynamism and strategic perspective will invigorate our organization’s ethos of public service and national cohesion.”

In his new role, Shri Dhiraj will oversee the expansion of the Youth Wing’s national footprint, encouraging volunteerism in initiatives related to public welfare, vocational training, and social upliftment programs.
The People Forum of India (NBSS) maintains its apolitical, service-oriented approach, working in coordination with Central and State Government mechanisms to implement community-benefit programs nationwide.
