Holafly launches Ultra, bringing health and wellbeing support to its global eSIM subscription

Holafly, a leading global provider of eSIM technology for international travelers, has introduced its new Ultra Plan. This premium subscription tier integrates unlimited mobile data with comprehensive health, wellness, and travel disruption assistance. Tailored specifically for digital nomads, international students, and frequent voyagers, the Ultra Plan is the latest addition to Holafly’s diverse range of service options.
The launch addresses significant hurdles faced by mobile workers; MBO Partners recently reported that 23% of American digital nomads struggle with travel burnout, while 19% deal with isolation. Furthermore, Holafly’s internal data indicates that 47.5% of long-term travelers have postponed necessary medical attention while abroad. The Ultra Plan was created to mitigate these risks, ensuring travelers can maintain their lifestyle without compromising their personal health.
“Remote work doesn’t eliminate daily stressors. Issues like illness, mental fatigue, or sudden flight cancellations can be significantly more difficult to manage when you are away from your usual support systems,” explained Metin Kastro, Chief Operating Officer at Holafly. “Through Ultra, we are reinforcing our commitment to traveler peace of mind, providing both reliable connectivity and a reliable support network.”
Securing these services individually can be expensive; for instance, Teladoc charges approximately $89 per medical consultation without insurance, and BetterHelp’s mental health services typically range from $70 to $100 weekly. For €84.9 per month, the Ultra Plan offers a consolidated solution including 24/7 doctor chat, unlimited mental wellbeing support, nutrition and fitness guidance, and online veterinary advice. The package also features unlimited data across more than 160 countries, unlimited hotspot capabilities, a local phone number, assistance with flight claims, luggage protection, and 24/7 human customer service.
The flight claim service assists users with eligible compensation, while the luggage protection feature covers lost or damaged baggage. To help travelers maintain healthy habits, the plan provides nutrition and personal training resources. Additionally, the inclusion of a local phone number enables subscribers to manage essential tasks, such as receiving two-factor authentication (2FA) codes via text.
By offering a broader sense of security, the Ultra Plan joins the Light and Unlimited tiers within the Holafly ecosystem, further expanding how the company supports individuals living and working across the globe.
