Shri Yogi Adityanath Marks Groundbreaking of Amber Group’s INR 6,785 Crore Investment to Strengthen India’s Electronics Components Manufacturing Ecosystem

Jewar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, 27 June 2026: Amber Group has begun construction of its planned INR 6,785‑crore manufacturing units for Ascent‑K Circuit and Amber Enterprises at the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), Uttar Pradesh, marking the first industrial project within the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC). The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji; Hon’ble Union Minister for Electronics & Information Technology, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji; Hon’ble Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav Ji; together with senior government officials, industry leaders and global partners.

Representing one of India’s largest investments in electronics component manufacturing, the INR 6,785 crore initiative is a major stride toward bolstering the nation’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem. It will deepen localisation, boost domestic value addition and nurture global technology collaborations across key electronics components. The investment also advances India’s goal of becoming a globally competitive hub for advanced electronics manufacturing, in line with the visions of Atmanirbhar Bharat, Make in India and Viksit Bharat.

As part of this investment, Ascent‑K Circuit will develop one of India’s most sophisticated manufacturing plants in Sector 10. The facility will produce High‑Density Interconnect (HDI) Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), Flexible Printed Circuit Boards (FPCBs) and Semiconductor Substrates—essential components that power modern electronics in consumer devices, mobility, industrial automation and telecommunications. Additionally, Amber Enterprises will establish a 100‑acre manufacturing site in Sector 08 for Room Air Conditioners (RACs), Copper Clad Laminates (CCL) and other vital components, reinforcing backward integration and localisation within India’s consumer durables sector. Collectively, the two facilities will fortify India’s electronics component value chain and curb import reliance.

Speaking at the groundbreaking event, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji, said, “Nobody ever imagined that items once imported from abroad could be produced domestically and shipped worldwide. Our aim is to turn India into a hub for electronic components, and this vision has brought us to this moment—a cause for celebration. Thanks to this strong strategy and inspiring leadership, Jewar—once notorious for lawlessness dubbed ‘Jungle Raj’ in Uttar Pradesh—has now become a beacon of prosperity and good governance, ‘Mangal Raj’.”

Designed as Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) facilities, both manufacturing units will incorporate advanced water‑recycling systems, resource‑efficient operations and sustainable production practices. Situated in the fast‑growing YEIDA industrial zone, the plants will enjoy top‑tier connectivity, multimodal logistics infrastructure and a rapidly evolving manufacturing ecosystem. Once operational, the projects are expected to create over 3,000 direct and indirect jobs while stimulating ancillary industries, supplier networks and advanced manufacturing capabilities across the region.
