CMS Info Systems bags ₹1,000 crore ATM deal from SBI

CMS Info Systems has secured a ₹1,000-crore contract from State Bank of India to manage 5,000 automated teller machines (ATMs) nationwide, the cash logistics company announced Wednesday.

The 10-year agreement effective January 1 covers managed services for enhancing cash efficiency and improving ATM uptime, which will serve millions of SBI customers according to an official statement.

This represents the first large-scale direct cash outsourcing contract awarded by a public sector bank covering ATMs across India, CMS noted.

The company’s Chief Business Officer Anush Raghavan stated the partnership will generate ₹500 crore in incremental revenue growth while delivering stable, high-quality services for uninterrupted self-service banking.

CMS highlighted its previous role in stabilizing ATM operations following nationwide channel disruptions in 2025, having supported multiple banks during that period.

Company shares rose 4.13% to ₹355.80 in Wednesday morning trading on the BSE, outperforming the benchmark index which declined 0.09%.
