PB Fintech shares, the parent company of Policybazaar, are expected to be part of a block trade valued at up to ₹653.6 crore (about $68 million) on Friday, as co‑founders Yashish Dahiya and Alok Bansal intend to sell a modest slice of their stake via a secondary offering.
As per the term sheet, up to 3.8 million shares—roughly 0.8 % of the total outstanding—will be sold. The floor price is set at ₹1,720 per share, which is about 3.6 % below the NSE closing price of ₹1,784.80 recorded on May 27.
The sale will be carried out via one or more exchange transactions, with Kotak Securities serving as the sole book‑runner.
Because the offering is purely secondary, the funds will flow to the selling shareholders rather than to the company itself.
Exchange data indicated that, at the close of the March quarter, Dahiya owned a 3.86 % stake while Bansal held 1.16 %.
PB Fintech, which runs the Policybazaar insurance marketplace and the Paisabazaar credit platform, has become one of India’s top online financial‑services firms. Recent months have brought heightened investor attention thanks to better profitability and steady growth in insurance premium inflows and loan disbursements.
The block trade occurs against a backdrop of lively activity in India’s capital markets, where founders and early investors are taking advantage of strong valuations to reduce their holdings.
