Punjab & Sind Bank Q3 Update: Reports 15.25% growth in gross advances

Total banking activity (deposits and advances combined) increased 11.84% year-on-year to ₹2,49,691 crore as of December 2025 end.
Punjab & Sind Bank (P&SB) posted a 9.27% year-on-year increase in total deposits alongside a 15.25% annual rise in gross advances during the October-December 2025 quarter.
Provisional data filed with regulators shows the state-owned bank’s deposits totaled ₹1,39,203 crore while gross loans reached ₹1,10,488 crore as of December 31, 2025.
The bank’s low-cost deposit ratio (CASA) edged lower to 31.02% of total deposits at 2025’s end, down from 31.16% in December 2024. However, this represented an improvement from 30.31% recorded three months earlier.
Credit expansion outpaced deposit growth, pushing the loan-to-deposit ratio up to 79.37% from 75.25% a year earlier.
Aggregate business volume grew 11.84% from 2024 levels to ₹2,49,691 crore by December 2025 conclusion.
