IHCL expands presence in Maharashtra with Tree of Life Resort in Panheli, Raigad

The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced a new Tree of Life resort in Panheli, Raigad, Maharashtra through a conversion agreement.
Suma Venkatesh, IHCL’s Executive Vice President – Real Estate and Development, stated: “Panheli is emerging as a favored getaway for travelers from Mumbai and Pune, with its natural beauty aligning perfectly with our strategy to expand in accessible leisure destinations. We’re pleased to collaborate with Mr. Prabhat Jha on this project.”
Set against the Sahyadri hills backdrop, Tree of Life AeroVillage Panheli boasts a private airstrip enabling 30-minute chartered flights from major cities. The property features 28 well-appointed accommodations, an all-day dining venue, and bar. A natural river flowing through the grounds enhances the experience with exclusive riverside dining options. Event facilities include over 5,000 sq. ft. of banquet space ideal for private functions. Recreational amenities range from Sahyadri mountain trails and a 9-hole golf course to a private 20-seat theater and multi-sport complex supporting cricket, football, and pickleball.

This signing expands IHCL’s presence in Maharashtra to 54 properties, with 27 currently in development.
