Cygnett Hotels and Resorts has named Sumit Ghosh Associate Vice President – Sales, bolstering its executive team amid nationwide expansion plans.
His responsibilities include overseeing sales initiatives, optimizing key client relationships, and enhancing revenue generation. Ghosh will manage corporate sales strategies, market expansion efforts, and alignment of sales objectives with organizational growth goals while collaborating with internal stakeholders and property partners.
With over 24 years of hospitality industry experience, Ghosh specializes in sales leadership and revenue optimization. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from SCDL–Symbiosis Pune, a Hotel Management Diploma from IIHM Kolkata, and a BA in International Hospitality Management from Scotland’s Queen Margaret University.
Prior to joining Cygnett, Ghosh held leadership positions with prominent hotel brands including Wyndham Hotel Group, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, and Jaypee Hotels. His expertise spans business development across metro and regional markets, having spearheaded corporate partnerships and revenue growth initiatives throughout his career.
